Enter to win 200 hours of free design services from PlainJoe! If you're a nonprofit or church organization with a story to tell, we want to help bring it to life in the spatial and digital realms. To enter, submit a video explaining the good your organization does and why you need a design intervention. Our judges will select finalists who will have the opportunity to present their entries. Official Rules & Terms of use

The contest is open to non-profit organizations and churches located anywhere in the world.
Current Projects:
Any current or previous clients of PlainJoe are ineligible to participate in the competition.
Submission Requirements:
To enter the contest, participants must submit a video of no more than 5 minutes in length that explains the good their organization does in the world and why they need a design intervention from PlainJoe, a Storyland Studio. The video should be submitted via the official contest webpage, and participants must provide their contact information and agree to the official rules and terms and conditions.
The deadline for submissions is July 3rd, 2023. Entries submitted after this date will not be considered.
Judging Criteria:
Entries will be judged based on several factors, including the organization's impact on the world, the potential impact of a design intervention, and the organization's need for design services. Finalists will be selected by a panel of expert judges, then invited to give a Zoom presentation to the panel. The grand prize winner will be chosen from those finalists based on the aforementioned criteria.
Grand Prize:
The grand prize of the contest is 200 hours of free design services from PlainJoe. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other products or services.
The grand prize winner will be notified via email or phone within 14 days of the judges' panel meeting. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
By entering the contest, participants agree to allow PlainJoe to use their name, organization name, video entry and footage of their Zoom presentation for publicity purposes.
Personal information submitted by participants will be used only for the purpose of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties.
PlainJoe reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the official rules or that is deemed inappropriate or offensive.
Changes to Rules:
PlainJoe reserves the right to make changes to the official rules and terms and conditions of the contest at any time, without prior notice.
Terms of Use:
By submitting an entry to the contest, participants agree to abide by the terms of use for the official contest website and any other digital platforms or social media accounts associated with the contest. Participants must not post or share any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of any third party.
Intellectual Property:
Participants must ensure that any content they submit as part of their entry, including videos and other digital assets, are their original work and do not infringe on any intellectual property rights. By submitting an entry, participants grant PlainJoe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute their content for the purpose of administering the contest and promoting PlainJoe's services.
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlainJoe and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of their participation in the contest or any breach of the official rules or terms of use.
Limitation of Liability:
PlainJoe and its affiliates are not responsible for any lost or damaged entries, technical failures, or other errors or omissions that may occur during the administration of the contest. In no event shall PlainJoe or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the contest.
Governing Law:
The official rules and terms and conditions of the contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or country where PlainJoe is headquartered.
Entire Agreement:
These official rules and terms and conditions, together with any additional terms and conditions provided by PlainJoe, constitute the entire agreement between the participant and PlainJoe with respect to the contest and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between the participant and PlainJoe.
