Tom McGlinchey, CMA serves as Chief Financial Officer for Storyland Studios and PlainJoe, where he stewards the financial strategy, budgeting, and fiscal discipline that keep the studio's creative work grounded and sustainable. A Certified Management Accountant with a heart for non-profits and a talent for making budgets make sense, Tom brings decades of financial leadership to a team built on turning ambitious stories into real, buildable places.
Tom's career began at the Disneyland Resort, where he spent nearly a decade in finance, rising from Accountant to Business Manager and developing an early appreciation for the business behind world-class guest experiences. That foundation carried him into nearly twenty years as Chief Financial Officer of Provision Ministry Group, followed by leadership roles as President of the Co:Mission Foundation and, most recently, Executive Vice President and Vice President for Business & Finance at Hope International University, where he also taught the next generation as an Adjunct Associate Professor.
Today, alongside his role at Storyland Studios, Tom serves as Treasurer of Ozone Story Tech and continues to advise organizations as a consulting CFO seeking clarity and confidence in their numbers. He earned his MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and his BA in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University, Fullerton.
