• Adapt tone and approach based on project type, balancing spectacle with clarity, warmth, and intention
Guide and Inspire Teams
• Lead with respect, emotional intelligence, and kindness — creating an environment where people feel valued, challenged, and supported
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary creative teams, including all designers, writers, and artists
• Provide clear, actionable feedback that elevates the work while maintaining momentum
• Foster a collaborative, low-ego culture that invites co-creation and brings out the best in every discipline
Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development through realized work
• Deep understanding of spatial storytelling, guest/visitor experience, and human-centered design
• Ability to balance creative ambition with real-world constraints (budget, schedule, technical feasibility)
• Experience working with IP-driven or branded environments is a strong plus
• Willingness to travel as needed to support project work, client engagement, and key milestones, including on-site collaboration
• Think in story first, but instinctively understand how things get built
• Can zoom out to define the big idea, then zoom in to shape the details
• Bring clarity to complexity and align teams around a shared vision
• Are collaborative by nature, but confident in making creative decisions
• Can flex your approach across different types of experiences — from high-energy entertainment to more reflective, purpose-driven environments
Bonus points if you have…

• Background in architecture, theater, or experiential design
• International project experience or cross-cultural design sensitivity
• Entertainment destinations (theme parks, attractions, location-based experiences)

Reports To: Sr. Architectural Project Manager & Team Lead
Administer and Guide
As the Architectural Job Captain, you’ll lead design projects, ensuring adherence to building codes and specifications. Under the Project Manager and Architect’s direction, you’ll manage technical designs and documents using software like Revit, Bluebeam, Revu, and AutoCAD — driving projects from concept to construction with a focus on compliance and design integrity. You will take ownership of the development and coordination of construction documents, ensuring alignment across all disciplines. For small to mid-scale projects, you’ll independently lead the production and documentation process, while supporting larger or more complex projects under the guidance of the Project Manager and Architect.
Coordinate and Communicate
In this role, you’ll be the key liaison between project teams, clients, and consultants, discerning project requirements and guiding designs to meet client approval. You’ll collaborate with Architectural Project Managers and other members of the team to help manage the project’s documentation requirements and timeline, streamlining communication while ensuring project milestones are achieved efficiently. You’ll actively coordinate with external consultants (MEP, structural, etc.), reviewing their drawings for conflicts, ensuring alignment with architectural intent, and helping drive timely integration into the overall construction documents for submittal to governing jurisdictions.
Ensure Excellence, Integration, and Compliance
Your dedication to quality will see you verifying documentation accuracy and ensuring project compliance, implementing Project Manager QA/QC reviews. You’ll deliver contract documents and guarantee that architectural designs are perfectly integrated with all project aspects, leading to exemplary finished projects. You’ll incorporate redlines, markups, and consultant feedback into final drawing packages, maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency. You’ll also help uphold documentation office standards, model organization, and file integrity across the project lifecycle.
