Phil spent 20 years serving in churches of all sizes in Executive and Lead Pastor roles while simultaneously serving Pastors around the country through leadership cohorts, individual coaching and teaching at conferences. He is the author of Defining The Executive Pastor Role and Eldership Development: From Application to Affirmation. In addition to coaching second chair leaders, Phil now spends most of his time helping churches tell their stories more effectively at Plain Joe-A Storyland Studio.
