Elevation Church

Elevation Church, located in Matthews, NC, sought to enhance its campus atmosphere by embedding its unique personality into the physical environment. The church’s leadership recognized the need to translate Elevation’s distinct identity and values, encapsulated in its ten-part “code,” into tangible elements that would resonate with and inspire both members and visitors.

To meet this challenge, PlainJoe stepped in to execute a design strategy that would distill Elevation Church’s vibrant personality into its physical spaces. Utilizing the church’s code as the pivot for the design process, PlainJoe crafted a unique graphic look that not only aligned with but also vividly expressed the church’s DNA. This approach involved a deep dive into the nuances of the church’s core values and ethos to ensure that the new design elements would authentically represent Elevation Church’s culture.

The result of this collaboration was a transformed church campus that effectively communicated Elevation Church’s mission and values through every element of its design. The new graphic look served as a constant visual reminder of the church’s foundational beliefs, creating a cohesive and immersive environment for all who entered.
